One of the most popular, well-known Carnivorous Plants, the Venus Fly Trap reacts quickly to slight physical contact, rapidly closing on small insects who step into its awaiting, open mouth and many teeth. This is a seasonal plant and may have to be specially ordered. Please ask!
Another Carnivorous Plant, Jack in the Pulpit only likes to have its "feet wet," so a potted plant should be placed in the most shallow water possible. A three-leaf stalk will push in part-shade, with the characteristic bloom if you're lucky! Otherwise, allow the plant to establish itself in the late Spring and early Summer before you except to see a "Jack."
