Flowers:
Long outer petals, medium blue; short inner petals, pink. Sepal color inner, white, outer, dark green, very heavily covered with black speckles. Shape stellate then flat. Sixe 8-9 in.
Leaves:
Top maroon with green mottling, underside, pink blotches with prominent green veins. Oval leaf with heavily serrated margins.
Spread:
Medium spread.
Situation:
Full sun, 6 to 12” water depth over top of pot.
Characteristics:
Free flowering, nonviviparous.
Notes:
The numerous pink inner petals contrast sharply with the blue outer petals, providing a sensational flower that is bound to impress all flower lovers. 2004 IWGS Best New Waterlily of the year and Best New Tropical.
